June update

Things have been pretty busy here and we have spent so much time outside enjoying the warm weather that we haven't had much time to post.

The second weekend in June we headed to Sister Bay to celebrate the life of my grandmother, JoAnn Thomas. The memorial service was wonderful and it was nice to spend time with the extended family. A good time was had by all, a fitting tribute for a wonderful women.

We spent this last weekend on our first family camping trip. We went with another family to Yellowstone Lake State Park, which is about an hour and a half south of Madison. We took the boat and enjoyed boating, fishing, and hanging on the beach on Saturday. Unfortunately, motor troubles with the boat put a cloud over an otherwise great day.

Not sure if we plan to camp again real soon, packing was a lot of work and the screaming infant at 3 am could be heard near and far!
