No More Medicine

We have all been sick for at least the last three weeks.

It started with Drew having trouble breathing, he left the doctor with a nebulizer and some steroids. The treatments were kind of a pain and the steroids tasted awful (or so Steve tells me).

It then moved to Steve who claims he had West Nile, although we now think it was strep. He was laid low for a few days and even stayed home form work.

The next Monday Cole had really goopy (but not pink) eyes. We didn’t think anything of it until three days later when Drew had one goopy and pink eye. After taking them both the doctor we found on that Cole did in fact have pink eye and that Drew had pink eye and an ear infection. So more meds all around!

Fast forward a few days and I felt absolutely awful, headed back to the doctor only to learn that I had strep.

So after 6 prescriptions, 2 boxes of tissues, and 5 sick days, and more decongestant than I care to remembers, we all appear to be well. The only hiccup was the huge fit Drew threw when he didn’t have any medicine to take before bed tonight.
