We had Drew baptized on March 31. Steve’s parents where able to come in from Pittsburgh and my parents from Green Bay. We had asked Meghan and Jason to be Drew’s Godparents and they happily agreed. Before the Baptism we attended church and had our first experience in the “cry room” we figured that with two infants that would be the best place for us. My dad commented that he was unaware that they had sky boxes at church. Drew did must have been saying all of his discontent for the baptism, because he was great during mass and screamed through most of the baptism. We did get it on video so we can show him some day.
We spent Easter at my parents in Green Bay. Because of my sister and BIL’s work schedule we actually had Easter dinner on Friday night. Steve and I then went up to Sturgeon Bay for Sat night to enjoy some sleep and quiet. It was really nice to get away and my parents did a great job of watching Drew. Drew also got this super funny chick for Easter that “quacks” a few kids songs. It is hysterical!!
Well, after a big snow storm last week this week is starting to look alot more like spring. The last couple of days I have come home to Steve and Drew playing in the front yard. It is so nice to be able to take him outside. Now we just have to watch for the sun.
